Glaverbel is the European branch of AGC (Asahi Glass Company) Flat Glass, the world's largest glassmaking group.
It produces and markets flat glass, mainly for the building sector with external glazing and internal decorative glass.
Glaverbel has production sites throughout greater Europe, from Spain to Russia, with 17 float plants and around 100 production units. Through its international commercial network, Glaverbel products are sold all over the world. Thanks to its policy of sustained research, it is the European leader in advanced glass technologies such as coated glass.
Glaverbel employs around 10,700 people. Its management focuses its strategy on creating value. To be close to the market Glaverbel is structured in divisions and business units serving the building and automotive industries and specific industrial sectors.
